EU satisfied with Thailand’s crusade against IUU
The European Union (EU) has voiced satisfaction with Thailand’s crusade against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU), says Deputy Prime Minister Gen Chatchai Sarikalya. Gen Chatchai disclosed the EU was pleased with the country’s efforts to suppress IUU, especially the catch traceability system, adding some regulations were adjusted in early March to better limit fishing outside territorial waters.
